Additionally, working conditions need to be adjusted to allow nursing and care staff to balance their professional and private lives. Austria must also become more attractive to foreign professionals.
Furthermore, shifting our focus to prevention rather than aftercare is essential. Ensuring long-term health should be our primary concern. The ongoing improvements to the care allowance system, which prioritize resource utilization, will contribute to this goal.
